The Slap that Changed the career of the greatest Showman

Image
There might be a lot of pressure and high expectations when you're a member of a famous film family. Because of your family history, the public and the industry may have preconceived notions about your talent and potential and may closely watch your every action. On the one hand, being from a well-known family may open doors and present chances that might not have been there otherwise. To live up to the family legacy and attain comparable levels of achievement, though, can also lead to feelings of pressure. Family members may also have high expectations for one another, thus this pressure may come from both the inside and the outside. Raj Kapoor probably dealt with a lot of strain during his career because he was a successful and well-known personality in the film business. He was known for taking chances and pushing limits with his movies, which might have added to the pressure to keep coming up with new ideas and making hit movies. We Know Raj Kapoor was the greatest

Unforgettable love story of Sahir, Amrita Pritam & Imroz

Image
The blog is about the unforgettable love story of Sahir, Amrita and Imroz.  Love is the most powerful emotion. When this most powerful emotion rises above the intellect & reason and takes the imagination using the sanctity of its emotion to form poetry, it becomes divine. Who knows it better than the  ‘Sahir Ludhianvi’ Sahir Ludhianvi was a temperamental poet, who was more concerned about the real issues than praising the beauty of women. He would rather highlight the plight of the woman rather than praise her lips and eyes. For example, he would not use the words like the contemporary poets’ Chhalkaye jaam aaiye aapki aankhon ke naam, hothon ke naam “  or Chho lene do Nazaq honton Ko , Kucch aur Nahi hai Jaam hai ye… But he would prefer highlighting their problem to be addressed. For instance Aurat ne janam diya mardo ko Mardo ne use bazar diya Jab ji chaha masla kuchla Jab ji chaha dutkar diya Aurat ne janam diya mardo ko Tulati hai kahi dinaro me Bikti hai kahi bazar

Dilip Kumar- The greatest actor of all the times

Image
Yusuf Sarwar Khan aka Dilip Kumar; Thespian, Tragedy King, legends of legends, the greatest method actor, the film institute are only some of the names of an actor who have inspired many generations of actors. Satyajit Ray described him as the ultimate method actor in the entire world. He truly is. Dilip Kumar is compared with the greatest actor in the world Marlon Brando. Many believe that he copies the acting style of Marlon Brando. But that is not true. Marlon Brando came later in the picture as far as method acting was considered. Marlon Brando's unique style of acting was noticed in the movie Streetcar Named Desire , a role that he originated successfully on Broadway in 1951. Dilip Kumar's acting style came earlier than that. He had already established by then the acting style he is known for. He had already left an imprint with the movies like Jugnu ( 1947, Mela and Shaheed in 1948 and Andaz in 1949. So to label him as a copy of Marlon Brando is factually wrong and g

The Opportunistic Bachchan Parivar

Much has been written on twitter about Jaya Bachchan Thali comment and she has found great support and equally the trolls from others who don’t support her comment. In a strongly-worded statement, she expressed that "People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. "People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree. I hope that the government tells such people not to use this kind of language." Let’s discuss the Thali debate. I do not agree with Jaya Bacchchan’s comment that there are certain people in the industry who are being flogged by social media to  discredit or disregard the industry. The truth is opposite. Bachchan Parivar is not the custodian of the film Industry. They are not the industry but the part of the industry. The industry belongs equally to all those who have worked for it. It equally belongs to Kangna Ranaut , Ravi Kishen or Jaya Bachan and Amitabh Bachchan In fact the biggest opp

Kangna Ranaut- Heroics and Trantrums

Image
Kangna Ranaut is a multi-faceted, multi-talented actress. She is an icon to reckon with. She symbolises the struggle of a small town girl who has made a gigantic success on her own. Kangna Ranaut is only the actress who has got the recognition for both commercial and art cinema bagging three national awards, four filmfare awards and a Padam Shri. Not only this, she has featured six times in  Forbes India 's Celebrity 100 list. Destiny is not a matter of chances, but the matter of choice. She was destined to be an actress by choice, though her parents preferred her to be a doctor. The two aspects of her reputation and dispositions are grossly distinct. Her reputation of being so brave and the notoriety to be involved in multiple controversies are quite evident. The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off. You can choose courage, or you can choose comfort, but you cannot choose both. It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” is it the courage whi

The film came to wider attention in the English-speaking world when its opening song “ “Jaan Pechaan Ho”" (a Hindi-Urdu phrase roughly translated as "we should get to know each other") was included in the opening credits of Ghost World and used in the 2011 commercial The Date for Heineken. The song was sung by Bollywood music legend Mohammed Rafi. The lead dancer in the song as shot in the film was Laxmi Chhaya  The psychedelic choreography was done by Herman Benjamin, who also sang the song as picturised in the film.
